On the 1st October 2018, Nick Brook opened his third shop, in Sheffield and is delighted by the response so far.
"We’ve had a fantastic first week. The shop has drawn many admiring glances and positive comments from neighbours, passers-by and clients and we are looking forward to becoming an integral part of the local business community."
Nick (pictured right with staff member Ella Mumby) opened his first shop in Huddersfield in 2006, followed by an office in Barnsley in 2015. Such was the demand for his services in Barnsley, that he relocated his office to a larger, more centrally located shop in the Yorkshire town’s Church Street in 2017.
"The shop-front concept is clearly key to my – and TaxAssist’s – success and I think it provides authenticity to our offering and makes us so much more visible to potential clients."
From starting out on his own, Nick now employs eight staff who look after the needs of over 500 clients.
"I am looking forward to working with Pat and my fantastic team of staff to continue the success that I’ve had so far in Barnsley and Huddersfield to North Sheffield and would like to encourage potential clients interested in our services, to pop in for a free consultation."

"It had always been my dream to start my own business. I had tried many things to start a business and very soon realised that I couldn’t do it alone. I needed a team to help me along, with a well-proven and successful idea, a marketing plan and so on - the list was exhaustive and time was short. Then I came across TaxAssist Accountants – a solution for all of my concerns."Nadeem Iqbal - Franchisee in Palmers Green & Walthamstow
"As I grew tired of corporate life, I started looking at options to start my own business. Owning a TaxAssist Accountants franchise appealed to me, as I valued the on-going support and readymade systems which would fast track my business. I didn’t want to be 'just an accountant'. It was great to realise that I was expected to run the business, employing accountants to do the operational side."Ali Redwood - Franchisee in Clifton & Portishead
"I chose a franchise because I lacked practice experience and had no knowledge of sales or marketing myself or a business. I wanted the support that I would get from a network of accountants, a working model and best practice guidance. TaxAssist Accountants was by far the best franchise that I looked into.
