In 2019, Just Cuts began to establish themselves as the hair salon franchise of choice for entrepreneurs around the UK. As well as welcoming three new franchisees, the brand launched a dedicated UK product site, bringing their affordable range of salon-inspired products to Clients. Now, they’re revelling in the success of their fifth salon launch, as Just Cuts opens in Leeds.
“We’re very excited to have opened the salon doors to customers in Leeds. When the retail unit became available, we jumped at the chance to add it to our property portfolio as it is in such a sought-after location, in the heart of a busy shopping centre in the east of the city. There has been so much interest from the local community in our services and the potential career opportunities we will bring to the area.
Since our company-owned location in Essex has recently been taken over by a Franchise Owner, we were keen to invest in a new site that we can get initially get off the ground. Now the salon is open to customers, we’re looking for a determined and hard-working franchisee to invest in the site and take over ownership. You don’t even need to have salon experience to be a Just Cuts Franchise Owner – we’re looking for business-minded individuals who share our passion for Client experience. The opening of the salon in Leeds is part of our ongoing plan for growth in the UK.”
As General Manager, David is the UK lead for the ongoing expansion, supported by a team in Australia. As a Just Cuts Franchise Owner and former head of National Operations in Australia and New Zealand, his experience in the industry is invaluable as the brand grows.
“My role has evolved so rapidly since I first arrived in the UK, 12 months ago, to manage our launch here. It’s been very exciting to see how quickly our brand name has grown across the country and just how many prospective Franchise Owners are looking to invest in our franchise package. I’m very proud to front our growth in the UK – seeing it come to fruition has been very exciting for the entire support team.
In 2020, we have even more phenomenal opportunities for anyone looking to invest in a franchise. We’re looking for determined and passionate entrepreneurs who really understand the growth potential for hair and beauty services in the UK. Something tells me this is going to be an amazing year for Just Cuts in the UK.”

The similarities between Australia and the UK are leaving businesses wanting a piece of the action too.
I was instantly drawn to the Just Cuts franchise model. What you get in terms of support is second-to-none and the brand is so innovative. The concept of walk-in appointments, fixed pricing and a professional quality, affordable haircare range really stands out in what can be a crowded marketplace. I’m excited for the future of my business and see this as such an amazing opportunity.Barbara Burnett – Just Cuts Stevenage
Before I found Just Cuts, I was a stay-at-home mum with two girls. When they had got to school age, I realised I had to do something for myself. It was always my dream to have my own salon so I started looking for something to fulfil that. I discovered Just Cuts, met with the Franchise Recruitment Manager and I instantly fell in love with the brand. The whole philosophy of the business was perfect.Magda Deaconescu – Just Cuts Wandsworth and Walton-on-Thames
I always thought it was a pipe dream to have my own salon but all the Just Cuts salons around the world are owned by franchisees who receive ongoing support to ensure business success. One of the reasons Just Cuts has done so well is our no-appointment system - clients can log in to our app and continue with their busy lives until it’s time for their spot in the chair.Holly Feltham – Just Cuts Lakeside
The average franchise owner goes on to own multiple salons. In fact, just over half are multi-site owners!
Increased flexibility and work-life balance – the average Just Cuts Franchise Owner spends less than 30 hours working on their business.
You don’t need hairdressing experience to own a Just Cuts salon – all you need is a passion for customer service and the dedication to succeed
