Twist of Fate

Kelvin and Glynne are together 'Twist of Fate' and below is our first gig (Summer 2004) and the very first time we had played together, other than at a diddly session. Kelvin was on a picnic at Rudyard lake and thought he would just play his accordion, a builder who is finishing off the new boat/club house for the Friends of Rudyard heard him and asked if he could come and play at a special fate on Sunday, Kelvin emailed Glynne and asked if he would like to come along and the next thing was a duo 'Twist of Fate'

Well that cleared the boat

Perhaps we overdid 'The Syke Boat Song'

We enjoyed the day, at least 5 times round the lake and we were invited back, so after 3 weeks of finding common ground and quickly learning each others tunes and songs we were back at Rudyard Lake this time in our own tent on the balcony and plugged in and may I say it much appreciated by the Ducks (it was their type of weather, Quack, Quack)
