White Horse Folk Festival is a small, friendly festival held in Oxfordshire where there is plenty of good singing, quality guests and good company.
2004 Programme
We start on Friday evening
with a singaround, music session and a late night session. On
Saturday & Sunday morning and Saturday afternoon there are
workshops, theme sessions or informal Meet the Artists
with festival guests. Lunchtimes bring the Big Sings in The Bell
P.H. On Saturday evening there is a special presentation of Lest
We Forget an epic, multimedia show featuring the works of
Rudyard Kipling and Peter Bellamy with songs, readings, poems
and visual displays, performed by John OHagan, Graham Pirt
& Val Marsden of Cockersdale, Dave Webber & Anni Fentiman
and John Morris. Local Morris & dance sides will add to the
festival atmosphere on Saturday. The festival closes on Sunday
afternoon after the lunchtime Sing.
WHFF is a relaxed and informal weekend, the ideal chance to meet
with friends old & new.
